From Neighborhood Picnics to Clean-Up Events, there's always something going on in Wellington! You can always find out what's going on by attending our general meeting or checking out our calendar page.
Wellington Heights Neighborhood Association was the first organized neighborhood association in Cedar Rapids. We strive to bring neighbors together because we believe that a strong community is a safe and happy community.
Our general meeting is held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Paul Engle Center on 4th Ave and 16th St SE. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM and lasts about one hour.

Welcome to the neighborhood! We are glad that you have decided to live in Wellington Heights. Whether you rent or own you are an important part of this community. There are a few things that we would like you to know, and many opportunities to get involved. Here is a tip for new neighbors from out of town: Garbage day is every Friday, Gray bin is for garbage, Blue Bin is for recycling, Green bin is for yard waste. For more information you can go to www.cedar-rapids.org. If you have any other questions then please come to our neighborhood meetings and ask. They are held at the Paul Engle Center (1600 4th Ave SE) from 7pm-8pm on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Everyone is welcome and this is a great way to learn about some of the community building events that we do in the neighborhood. Whether you are new to the neighborhood or not, we want you to feel welcome here. Wellington Heights is home to a lot of people and we want to encourage you to meet, know, and become friends with your neighbors.
